Howmet Aerospace Q3 Adjusted Earnings, Sales Rise; Q4 Guidance Set, 2024 Outlook Revised

07:46 AM EST, 11/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Howmet Aerospace ( HWM ) reported Q3 adjusted earnings Wednesday of $0.71 per diluted share, up from $0.46 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.65.

Sales for the quarter ended Sept. 30 were $1.84 billion, up from $1.66 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.85 billion.

Howmet said it expects Q4 adjusted EPS in the range of $0.70 to $0.72. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $0.69. Revenue for the quarter is expected to be between $1.85 billion and $1.89 billion. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $1.89 billion.

The company said it now expects 2024 adjusted EPS in the range of $2.65 to $2.67. That compares with its prior outlook of $2.53 to $2.57. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $2.59.

Revenue for the year is now projected to be between $7.39 billion and $7.43 billion, the company said. That compares with its prior range of $7.40 billion to $7.48 billion. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $7.45 billion.

Shares of the company rose 3.3% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
