Howmet Aerospace says customer Boeing reducing parts orders
Jul 30, 2024 8:47 AM

July 30 (Reuters) - Aeroparts supplier Howmet Aerospace ( HWM )

said on Tuesday Boeing has been trimming orders

for parts as the planemaker wrestles with a safety crisis that

has forced it to cut production of its best-selling jets.

Howmet CEO John Plant added that the orders continue to be

at levels above the actual 737 and 787 build rates.
