09:31 AM EDT, 06/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- HP (HPQ) said Wednesday it has appointed Karen Parkhill as chief financial officer, effective Aug. 5.

Parkhill will join the company from Medtronic ( MDT ) , where she served as executive vice president and CFO since 2016, HP added.

HP's Interim CFO Tim Brown will return to his role as the head of print finance, the company said.

Separately, Medtronic ( MDT ) said that Gary Corona, senior vice president of global financial planning and analysis, will serve as interim finance chief upon Parkhill's departure on Aug. 2.

The company has started a search for Parkhill's successor.
