04:46 PM EDT, 05/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- HP (HPQ) reported fiscal Q2 non-GAAP earnings late Wednesday of $0.71 per diluted share, down from $0.82 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.80.
Revenue for the quarter ended April 30 was $13.22 billion, up from $12.80 billion a year earlier.
Analysts expected $13.13 billion.
For fiscal Q3, the company is projecting non-GAAP diluted EPS of $0.68 to $0.80. Analysts expect $0.90.
HP lowered its fiscal 2025 non-GAAP EPS guidance to a range of $3.00 to $3.30 from the previously provided range of $3.45 to $3.75. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $3.56.
The company said the revised outlook reflects added costs from current US tariffs and related mitigation efforts.
Shares of HP dropped more than 15% in after-hours activity.
