03:59 PM EST, 02/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- HPQ Silicon ( HPQFF ) said Thursday afternoon that it is increasing its equity stake in French partner Novacium, from 20% to 28.4%.

The company said it will purchase an additional 84 shares of Novacium, 8.4% of its equity, for about $3.7 million, paid through the issuance of about 17.3-million HPQ units at $0.215 per unit.

Each unit consists of a share and one warrant to buy a second share for $0.25 for four years. The agreement is tied to approval by the TSX Venture Exchange and regulatory authorities, the company added.

Shares of HPQ Silicon ( HPQFF ) were last seen up $0.02 to $0.22 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
