08:39 AM EDT, 07/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- HSBC Continental (HSBC) said Friday it has reached an agreement to sell its German fund administration business Internationale Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH, known as INKA, to a fund managed by BlackFin Capital Partners.
INKA, a unit of HSBC Germany, managed about 430 billion euros ($503 billion) in assets as of December 2024, HSBC ( HSBC ) said.
Under terms of the transaction, all staff would remain employed by INKA at completion, when the company would transfer to BlackFin. The transaction is expected to close in H2 of 2026, pending regulatory and antitrust approvals and talks with the Works Council, HSBC ( HSBC ) added.
Shares of HSBC ( HSBC ) were down nearly 2% in recent Friday premarket activity.
