HSBC Appoints Lisa McGeough as CEO of US Operations

08:38 AM EST, 01/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- HSBC Holdings ( HSBC ) said Monday that Lisa McGeough will become president and chief executive of the lender's US operations, effective Jan. 1.

The company said that McGeough will oversee all US businesses and lead the growth of HSBC's ( HSBC ) Corporate and Institutional Banking in North America.

McGeough will report to Michael Roberts, who serves as CEO of HSBC Bank as well as CEO of corporate and institutional banking, and will be based in New York City, HSBC ( HSBC ) said.

HSBC ( HSBC ) shares were 1.2% higher in recent premarket activity.
