08:26 AM EST, 12/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- HSBC ( HSBC ) said Thursday that it has appointed Lisa McGeough to become chief executive officer for its US division.

The bank said McGeough will be "driving our next phase of growth as a super-connector

between the US and the rest of the world."

McGeough will have responsibility "for all businesses in the US, including North America CIB coverage," the bank said.
