07:32 AM EDT, 07/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- HSBC Holdings ( HSBC ) is selling its operations in Uruguay to Brazilian bank BTG Pactual for $175 million, according to media reports Monday quoting a statement from BTG.

With this move, BTG Pactual will operate in retail banking, corporate credit, investment banking and wealth management, serving individuals and businesses of all sizes, the reports added.
