About 7,000 users reported trouble accessing HSBC's ( HSBC ) UK online and mobile sites at one point on Friday morning, according to the tracking service DownDetector.

"We're really sorry that some customers are having issues accessing personal online and mobile banking," HSBC ( HSBC ) said in a post on the social media platform X. "Our IT teams are working hard to get these services back to normal."
