HudBay Minerals Upsizes Bought Deal Equity Offering to $350 Million, Shares Decline

10:18 AM EDT, 05/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- HudBay Minerals ( HBM ) said Wednesday it increased the size of its previously announced bought deal equity offering to $350 million from $300 million.

The offering now includes about 36.8 million shares priced at $9.50 apiece, according to the company.

HudBay said it also granted underwriters a 30-day option to buy up to an additional 15% shares issued in connection with the offering.

Shares of the company were down 7.6% in recent trading.
