09:38 AM EDT, 06/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Huntington Bancshares ( HBAN ) and Argent Institutional Trust have signed a deal under which Huntington will sell the corporate trust and institutional custody business of its Huntington National Bank unit to Argent, the latter said Friday.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Argent will offer corporate trust, escrow, and custody services to Huntington's business and commercial banking customers, it said, adding that it anticipates a full integration in the coming months.

Huntington Bancshares ( HBAN ) shares were up 2.2% in recent early trading.
