Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $3.89.

Sales and service revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 were $2.75 billion, down from $2.82 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $2.86 billion.

Shares of the company fell more than 9% in recent Thursday premarket activity.
