06:58 AM EDT, 03/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Huntington Ingalls Industries ( HII ) said Wednesday that its Ingalls Shipbuilding division has launched DDG 129, the third Flight III Arleigh Burke-class destroyer built at the division's shipyard.

The company said DDG 129, which will be named USS Jeremiah Denton, features the AN/SPY-6(V)1 air and missile defense radar and the Aegis Baseline 10 Combat System.

Ingalls Shipbuilding currently has five Flight III destroyer vessels under construction, according to the statement.
