Huntington Ingalls Partners With Shield AI on Mission Autonomy

03:54 AM EDT, 09/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Huntington Ingalls Industries ( HII ) said Wednesday it has partnered with Shield AI to develop autonomous systems.

The company said the collaboration combines Shield AI's Hivemind software with Huntington's maritime expertise to accelerate cross-domain autonomy.

Separately, Huntington said it has completed production on its 750th REMUS unmanned undersea vehicle for the German navy.
