09:49 AM EDT, 07/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Huntington Ingalls Industries ( HII ) said Tuesday it received a multiyear order from Hitachi for more than a dozen REMUS 300 small uncrewed undersea vehicles.

Financial details weren't disclosed.

The REMUS 300, a modular and open-architecture platform designed for multi-mission adaptability, was the commercial basis for the US Navy's Lionfish program, according to Huntington.

Shares of the company were up more than 1% in early trading Tuesday.
