Hut 8 Higher in U.S. Pre-market as Reserve Pass US$1 Billion With US$100 Million Bitcoin Buy

07:36 AM EST, 12/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Hut 8 ( HUT ) , up 4.5% in U.S. premarket trading, on Thursday said it has purchased 900 bitcoin for US$100 million, an average of US$101,710 per bitcoin.

Hut 8's ( HUT ) strategic bitcoin reserve now totals 10,096 bitcoin with a market value exceeding US$1 billion.

The company's shares were last seen up US$1.17 to US$27.30 in New York trading.
