Hut 8 Mining Provides Operations Update for April

07:45 AM EDT, 05/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Hut 8 ( HUT ) , one of North America's largest Bitcoin miners, on Monday provided an operations update for April 2024.

The total hashrate under management for April was 26.6 EH/s, up from 25.5 EH/s in March. The total deployed miners under management for April were 250,100, up from 241,600 in March.

Total energy capacity under management was 1,162 megawatts versus 884 megawatts in March.

Hut 8 ( HUT ) produced 148 Bitcoin in April, down from 231 in March. Bitcoin on the balance sheet was 9,109 compared with 9,102 in March, the company said.

The company's shares, which edged up 1.4% in Canada on Friday, gained nearly 4% in premarket U.S. trading on Monday.
