09:13 AM EDT, 05/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Hyatt Hotels ( H ) said Tuesday that its HI Holdings Playa unit extended the offering period of its cash tender offer to buy all outstanding Playa Hotels & Resorts ( PLYA ) ordinary shares for $13.50 per share.

The offer will now expire at 5:00 pm ET on June 9, unless further extended or terminated earlier, the company said.

Hyatt said in February it had agreed to buy Playa Hotels & Resorts ( PLYA ) for roughly $2.6 billion.
