01:27 PM EST, 01/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Hycroft Mining Holding ( HYMC ) appointed Thomas Weng as board chair, effective Jan. 15.

Weng, 56, succeeds Stephen Lang, who is stepping down due to health reasons, the company said Tuesday in a regulatory filing.

Weng is currently the independent lead director and chair of the board's corporate governance and nominating committee. Lang will remain as an independent director.
