07:45 AM EST, 11/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Hydro One ( HRNNF ) reported Thursday an increase in net earnings for the third quarter, driven by
higher revenues from Ontario Energy Board-approved 2025 transmission and distribution rates, as well as higher average monthly peak demand.
Hydro One ( HRNNF ) booked an attributable net income of C$421 million, or $0.70 per share, in the three months ended Sept. 30, increasing from $371 million, or $0.62 per share, recorded last year.
Analysts polled by FactSet estimated Hydro One's ( HRNNF ) EPS at $0.65.
Revenue increased to $2.30 billion from $2.19 billion and above the analyst consensus sales forecast of $1.22 billion compiled by FactSet.
The company declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.3331 per share, to be paid on Dec. 31 to shareholders of record on Dec. 10.
"Electricity demand in southwestern Ontario is growing fast, and Hydro One ( HRNNF ) continues to support this growth through development of critical infrastructure, such as the St. Clair Transmission Line Project, to strengthen power resiliency and reliability in the region," President and Chief Executive Officer David Lebeter said.
