08:31 AM EST, 11/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- AtkinsRealis Group ( SNCAF ) said Thursday that it as been picked by Hydro One Networks (H.TO) for a multi-year expansion of their Bowmanville substation.

The substation is across from the Darlington Nuclear Generating Station, and its expansion will enable grid connection of the planned build of four small modular reactors (SMRs) by Ontario Power Generation at the Darlington new nuclear project site.

AtkinsRealis' ( SNCAF ) Power & Renewables experts will provide engineering, and project & program management services to Hydro One ( HRNNF ).
