02:21 PM EDT, 10/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Hyzon Motors ( HYZN ) said Tuesday it started the production of a single-stack 200-kilowatt fuel cell system.

This allows the company to transition from building prototypes to manufacturing standardized fuel cell systems at volume for commercial sale, according to Hyzon.

The company said it expects to get formal ISO 9001 certification for fuel cell manufacturing and design activities in Q4.

Shares of the company fell nearly 3% in recent trading.
