08:09 AM EDT, 10/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Hyzon Motors ( HYZN ) said Tuesday that it has received an order from GreenWaste to deliver 12 hydrogen-powered refuse fuel cell electric vehicles, or FCEVs.

Hyzon Motors ( HYZN ) said its FCEVs will help GreenWaste achieve its goal of reducing combined Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 45% by 2030.

The vehicles will be built in collaboration between Hyzon and New Way Trucks, with deliveries to GreenWaste set to begin in Q4 next year.

Hyzon Motors ( HYZN ) shares were up over 66% in recent Tuesday premarket trading.
