08:17 AM EDT, 09/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- I-80 Gold ( IAUX ) said Friday that it received all required permits and has started construction at the Archimedes project in Nevada.

The company said it began underground mining activities after receiving the environmental permits from the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection and the Bureau of Land Management.

Archimedes is expected to start production in Q4 of 2026, the company added.

Shares of i-80 Gold ( IAUX ) were up nearly 4% in recent Friday premarket activity.
