06:38 AM EST, 03/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- i-80 Gold Corp. ( IAUX ) on Tuesday announced some of its "best results" to-date from drilling in the Helen Zone at the McCoy-Cove property in Nevada.

Highlights of the results include 22.6 g/t gold over 19.1 meters, 32.9 g/t gold over 14.9 meters and 23.5 g/t gold over 12.8 meters.

"Results received to-date have met or exceeded our expectations as definition drilling continues to confirm that Cove is one of the highest-grade, development-stage, gold deposits in North America," said Tyler Hill, chief geologist of i-80 Gold ( IAUX ).

The company at last look gained 4.1% in US pre-market trading on Tuesday.
