10:48 AM EDT, 06/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- S&P Global Ratings on Tuesday assigned its "BBB+" issue-level rating to iA Financial's ( IAFNF ) Canadian dollar-denominated limited recourse capital notes.

The notes are subordinated obligations, not callable in the first five years, and have a 60-year maturity.

The rating agency said it expects the company to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes and is neutral to its view of its financial risk.
