05:34 PM EDT, 08/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- iA Financial ( IAFNF ) Tuesday after hours said second-quarter core earnings advanced and hiked its dividend by 10%.

Core earnings increased 22% to $327 million, or $3.49 per diluted share, from $267 million, or $2.75 per diluted share, in the prior year period. Analysts polled by FactSet had forecast $3.04 per share.

The insurer reported strong sales momentum in Canada and the U.S. with total assets under management and assets under administration jumping 16% to $274 billion at June 30.

It said that the strong earning this quarter also translated into record quarterly organic capital generation of $200 million.

iA Financial ( IAFNF ) reported a solvency ratio of 138% at the end of the quarter.

"We are proud of our very strong second-quarter results, which reflect the effectiveness of our diversified business model and the disciplined execution of our growth strategy across all of our operating segments," said Chief Executive Denis Ricard. "We remain focused on strategic capital deployment, including our intention to acquire RF Capital Group, an active share buyback program, and a 10% increase in our common share dividend, all aligned with our commitment to delivering long-term value to our shareholders."

iA will pay an increased quarterly dividend of $0.99 per share on Sept. 15.
