03:06 PM EDT, 05/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- IAC's (IAC) Dotdash Meredith said Tuesday it has entered into a strategic collaboration and licensing agreement with Microsoft ( MSFT )-backed OpenAI to enhance ChatGPT with its content.

Dotdash's content includes recipes, health and financial information, entertainment, and product reviews from its media brands.

OpenAI will showcase Dotdash's content in relevant ChatGPT responses and partner with Dotdash to create new AI features as part of the partnership, the company said.

OpenAI's models will also support Dotdash's ad-targeting solution, D/Cipher, which connects advertisers with consumers based on the context of content consumption, without using personal identifiers like cookies, it added.
