11:18 AM EDT, 09/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Iamgold ( IAG ) , up 2.3% at last look, said its latest assay results from the 2025 drilling programs at the Nelligan and Monster Lake projects confirm extensions of the mineralized zones at both deposits. The projects are about 15 kilometers apart in central Quebec.
Highlights at Nelligan include 20.6 meters at 1.93 grams per tonne gold (g/t) and 13.5 meters at 2.17 g/t, as well as 36.5 meters at 3.03 g/t.
At Monster Lake, highlights include 9.0 meters at 23.4 g/t, including 5.0 meters at 40.7 g/t
According to chief executive officer Renaud Adams, there are nearly 9 million ounces of resources in the two deposits, positioning Nelligan among the largest gold projects in Canada with significant potential for further growth.

The next phases of diamond drilling will aim to complete a set of infill holes to convert some of the inferred resources into the indicated category to improve resources classification.
