IBM, Bharti Airtel Collaborate to Expand Cloud Services in India

07:37 AM EDT, 10/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- IBM ( IBM ) has entered a partnership with Bharti Airtel to offer its services to customers in India through the Airtel Cloud platform, the companies said on Wednesday.

Under the deal, Airtel Cloud customers will be able to deploy IBM Power Systems to scale artificial intelligence workloads more efficiently across hybrid cloud environments.

Airtel said the partnership will also expand its availability zones in India from four to 10 and add two new multizone regions in Mumbai and Chennai.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
