IBM, L'Oreal Collaborate to Develop AI Model for Sustainable Cosmetics

06:11 AM EST, 01/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- International Business Machines ( IBM ) said Thursday it will combine its artificial intelligence technologies with and L'Oreal's expertise in cosmetic science to develop a custom AI foundation model for sustainable cosmetics.

The AI model will help L'Oreal with the formulation of new products, reformulation of existing cosmetics, and optimization for production ramp up.

No financial details were disclosed.
