IBM Partners With Amazon-Backed Anthropic to Integrate Claude Into Software Portfolio

06:45 AM EDT, 10/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- International Business Machines ( IBM ) and Anthropic, in which Amazon ( AMZN ) holds a stake, will form a partnership to integrate the Claude family of large language models into the technology company's software portfolio, the companies said on Tuesday.

The companies said Claude will first be integrated into IBM's ( IBM ) new artificial intelligence-first integrated development environment, or IDE, the companies said.

IBM ( IBM ) is exploring plans to include Claude in additional products in the future, the parties said.

The companies said they will collaborate to develop a guide for designing and managing enterprise AI agents.

Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
