10:55 AM EST, 02/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- International Business Machines ( IBM ) said Tuesday it intends to acquire artificial intelligence and data solution provider DataStax.

Financial terms of the transaction weren't provided.

IBM ( IBM ) said the acquisition of the Santa Clara, California-based company would deepen its watsonx capabilities and address generative AI data needs for enterprises.

The transaction is anticipated to close in Q2 of 2025, IBM ( IBM ) said.
