ICF Tapped to Implement Commonwealth Edison Electrification Programs in Illinois

06:02 PM EDT, 07/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- ICF (ICFI) late Wednesday said it has been selected to implement Commonwealth Edison's $231 million electrification programs to remove barriers and promote equitable access to electric vehicles in Illinois.

The programs, with support provided by ICF and another energy efficiency firm, Walker-Miller Energy Services, will also help ComEd build out a charging network for EVs and lowering the cost of use for residential and commercial customers.

The ComEd contract with ICF and Walker-Miller was awarded during Q1. ComEd is a subsidiary of Exelon ( EXC ) .
