02:28 PM EDT, 08/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- ICON (ICLR) has halted work on a large-scale COVID vaccine study after a stop-work notice from the US Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, the company said in a regulatory filing on Tuesday.

The study's undisclosed sponsor has directed ICON to stop all screening and dosing activities for new subjects. Around half of the planned 10,000 subjects have been dosed, the company said.

The sponsor remains in talks with the agency on the next steps, ICON said.

ICON said the order impacts its H2 revenue, but its full-year 2025 guidance remains unchanged.
