Icon Promotes COO Barry Balfe to CEO Role

08:37 AM EDT, 09/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Icon (ICLR) said Thursday it has named Chief Operating Officer Barry Balfe as chief executive, effective Oct. 1.

Balfe succeeds Steve Cutler, who is retiring but will continue to serve as a non-executive director on the board, the company said.

Balfe has served as Icon's chief operating officer since January, the company said.

Shares were down 4.5% in recent premarket activity.
