ICON Q3 Adjusted EPS Increases, Revenue Falls; 2024 Outlook Lowered

05:11 PM EDT, 10/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- ICON (ICLR) reported Q3 adjusted earnings Wednesday of $3.35 per diluted share, up from $3.30 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $3.85.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $2.03 billion, down from $2.06 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $2.13 billion.

The company said it now expects full-year 2024 adjusted EPS between $13.90 and $14.10 and revenue between $8.26 billion and $8.30 billion.

The previous guidance was of adjusted EPS between $15.00 and $15.20 and revenue between $8.45 billion and $8.55 billion.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect normalized EPS of $15.06 on revenue of $8.51 billion.

The company's shares were falling past 15% in after-hours trading.
