10:52 AM EDT, 04/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Identiv ( INVE ) said in a Friday filing that it has initiated multiple legal proceedings against Tageos SAS in Europe, alleging that the latter has engaged in "anti-competitive" business practices such as misappropriation of Identiv's ( INVE ) trade secrets and confidential information.

The company said it discovered in February that Tageos gained access to unauthorized confidential information and Identiv ( INVE ) trade secrets, and it subsequently took action to pursue legal relief to protect its business.

A hearing over the matter at the regional court in Munich, Germany has been scheduled for mid-May, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
