Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $2.04.

Nets sales for the quarter ended June 30 fell to $807.2 million from $846.2 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $828.1 million.

For Q3, the company expects adjusted EPS of $1.85 to $1.90. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $2.18. The company estimates net sales for the quarter of $782 million to $791.5 million. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $841 million.

IDEX ( IEX ) said it now expects full-year 2024 adjusted EPS of $7.80 to $7.90, down from its prior outlook of $8.15 to $8.45. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $8.29. The company estimates net sales for the year of about $3.20 billion to $3.23 billion, versus its prior guidance of $3.32 billion to $3.39 billion. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $3.32 billion.
