Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $2.69.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $975.5 million, up from $915.5 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $981 million.

IDEXX ( IDXX ) said it now expects fiscal 2024 EPS of $10.37 to $10.53, narrower than its prior guidance of $10.31 to $10.59. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $10.47.

Revenue for the current year is now projected to be $3.87 billion to $3.89 billion, compared with $3.89 billion to $3.95 billion previously, the company said. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $3.92 billion.
