Imaflex Down 11% as Its Second-Quarter Adjusted Profit Falls 69% on Lower Sales
Aug 28, 2025 9:53 AM

12:38 PM EDT, 08/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Imaflex ( IFLXF ) shares fell 11% on Thursday said its second-quarter adjusted profit fell 69% as revenue weakened.

The packaging company said its adjusted earnings, excluding most one-time items, fell to $0.98 million, or $0.02 per share in the quarter, down from $3.21 million, or $0.06, in the year-prior period.

Revenue fell 8.4% to $26.4 million from $28.83 million.

"Our sales were broadly comparable versus the prior year, particularly given that Q2 2024 was a very strong quarter. Adjusted profitability was also respectable, reflecting the resilience of our business and agility in responding to market conditions," chief executive Stephan Yazedjian said in a release.

The company also noted its products are exempt from tariffs under the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).

Imaflex ( IFLXF ) shares were last seen down $0.15 to$1.18 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
