Imperial Metals Reports Drill Results From Mount Polley Mine, Extending Mineralization

06:41 AM EDT, 07/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Imperial Metals ( IPMLF ) late on Monday reported drill results from the Mount Polley mine in British Columbia that extended mineralization 885 meters beneath the Springer Pit.

Highlights of the results include 895 meters grading 0.26% copper and 0.32 grams per tonne (g/t) gold starting from a depth of 27.5 meters, including 342.5 meters grading 0.42% copper and 0.48 g/t gold starting from 27.5 meters.

The results will be used to remodel the Springer zone mineralization, optimize the pit designs for the Springer pit, increase resolution in mine scheduling and potentially consider pit expansions and further drilling.

Imperial Metals ( IPMLF ) lost 3.7% to $2.06 per share yesterday.
