Born on January 13, 1968, Jassy is an alumnus of Harvard College and Harvard Business School. He served as the advertising manager of The Harvard Crimson during his graduation days.
He joined Amazon as a marketing manager in 1997 and founded Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2003. Today, AWS annual revenues to the tune of $50 billion. In 2016, Jassy was promoted from senior vice president to CEO of AWS.
Jassy is married and is a father of of two.
