01:50 PM EDT, 06/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Independence Gold ( IEGCF ) on Thursday surged 25% on last look after highlighting the first assay results from the spring drilling program at its 3Ts Project in British Columbia.
The spring program, consisting of 22 holes totaling 5,130 meters, was designed to test several targets along the Ted-Mint and Tommy Vein Systems, both near the surface and at depth below the sill.
Among the highlights, 3TS-24-03 returned 11.50 meters grading 9.62 g/t gold and 134.43 g/t silver; 3TS-24-04 returned 10.50 meters grading 2.06 g/t gold and 279.62 g/t silver; and 3TS-24-05 returned 23 meters grading 5.85 g/t gold and 152.70 g/t silver.
Additionally, 3TS-24-06 returned 10.50 meters grading 4.88 g/t gold and 608.10 g/t silver; and 3TS-24-07 returned 7 meters grading 12.84 g/t gold and 124.29 g/t silver.
Further, the company said it plans to launch a summer exploration program at 3Ts on July 2. The main objective is to define new targets for a fall drill program.
The company's shares were last seen up $0.05 to $0.25 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
