India's Competition Regulator Approves Disney-Reliance Merger

07:34 AM EDT, 08/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- The Competition Commission of India has approved the $8.5 billion merger of Reliance Industries and Walt Disney's ( DIS ) Indian media assets, subject to certain voluntary modifications, the regulatory said in a post on its verfied account on social media platform X Wednesday.
