Indonesia allows Freeport to export copper concentrate until June, media reports

JAKARTA, March 6 (Reuters) - The Indonesian government

has issued a regulation allowing copper miner PT Freeport

Indonesia to export copper concentrate until June 2025,

Bloomberg Technoz reported, citing a deputy energy minister.

Freeport has asked for export extension until repairs at its

Manyar smelter are completed. The government had previously

given Freeport an exemption until the end of 2024 from its ban

on exports of copper concentrate.
