JAKARTA, Nov 7 (Reuters) - Indonesia's Energy and
Mineral Resources Ministry is evaluating the fatal incidents at
the Grasberg copper and gold mine, operated by Freeport
Indonesia, a deputy minister said on Friday.
The evaluation is aimed at determining the cause of the
incident in September and whether there was negligence that led
to the disaster, Yuliot Tanjung said, adding that Freeport would
be allowed to resume operations once the evaluation was
completed and it was deemed safe.
