10:16 AM EDT, 03/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Infleqtion ( INFQ ) was selected to receive $3.9 million in funding from the US Department of Energy's Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy to support quantum-computing research in chemistry and materials science.
The company said Wednesday that the project will study materials capable of transmitting electricity without resistance, with the goal of identifying new compounds that could be used in energy-infrastructure applications.
Infleqtion ( INFQ ) said the work will use its neutral-atom quantum-computing platform and a new algorithm designed to improve the analysis of superconductivity. The effort aims to help pinpoint materials that could broaden the use of superconductors in power systems.
