Ingevity CEO John Fortson Steps Down; Luis Fernandez-Moreno Appointed Interim CEO

07:04 AM EDT, 10/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ingevity ( NGVT ) said on Thursday that John Fortson left his position as chief executive officer on Oct. 2, and Luis Fernandez-Moreno has been appointed as interim CEO while the company conducts a search for a permanent replacement.

The company said it has engaged an executive search firm to assist in finding a new president and CEO.

Fernandez-Moreno has been a member of Ingevity's ( NGVT ) board of directors since its spinoff in 2016.
